What the snowblower tune-up includes
We go through the major engine, fuel, drive and snow-handling systems so your snowblower is serviced, adjusted and tested before it goes back to work.
Engine & starting system
- Replace spark plug and engine oil
- Inspect and flush fuel system
- Clean carburetor and replace service seals as needed
- Inspect starter, rewind and electric starter
- Complete operational and safety test
Auger, drive & controls
- Inspect auger, impeller and gearbox
- Inspect belts, friction drive and drive system
- Lubricate chains, gears and controls
- Inspect shear pins, scraper bar and skid shoes
- Inflate tires and inspect tire chains when equipped
Additional repair parts
Additional repair parts beyond normal tune-up items are billed separately. There is no additional labor charge to install those parts when replaced as part of the tune-up service.
